Our cemetery is located on the Mira River, Hillside Road, Marion Bridge.
It was established in 1810 and is a resting place for many of our ancestors.
Our annual memorial service is held the 3rd Sunday in August. Donations are welcome and helps immensely with the upkeep of our cemetery.
The Board is in need of volunteers and workers to help out it various capacities, from communications , secretary, to grounds.

Welcome to Oakfield Cemetery
Our cemetery is situated along the beautiful Mira River on Hillside Road in Marion Bridge. Established in 1810, it has served as a peaceful resting place for generations of families, and it continues to hold deep historical and cultural significance for our community. Many of our ancestors and loved ones are laid to rest here, making it an important part of our shared heritage.
Each year, we host our Annual Memorial Service on the third Sunday in August. This gathering allows families, friends, and community members to come together in remembrance and reflection. Donations are always welcome and are greatly appreciated, as they play a vital role in supporting the ongoing care and maintenance of the cemetery grounds.
The Board is currently seeking volunteers and individuals willing to assist in a variety of roles. Opportunities are available in communications, administrative support, secretary duties, grounds maintenance, and general operations. Your time and involvement would make a meaningful difference in preserving the beauty, history, and dignity of our cemetery for generations to come.
