Smart Key Pairing
The RS500i comes with Smart Key Nano. View the full tutorial video and make sure to assign an entry mode after initially pairing. On Demand mode works well if the safe is plugged in continually. If using battery power, Progressive mode is recommended to save battery power.

2 of 2: Assign an Entry Mode
1) After pairing you can toggle entry modes from the keypad, Wi-Fi app, or online dashboard. To toggle from the keypad press and hold the ‘6’ key then “PROGRAM” button together. The LCD screen will indicate each mode selected.
OFF
Progressive Entry Mode
Safe goes into sleep mode and will require you to wake up the safe before using Smart Key. You can wake up the safe by pressing any key or brushing your hand across the keypad of the safe so all keys turn red.
On Demand Entry Mode
This mode grants immediate access to your safe without having to wake it up.
Warning: On Demand Entry Mode can open a safe in another room and/or out of sight. To reduce the risk of an unattended open safe we recommend using Progressive Entry Mode.

Can one safe pair with multiple Smart Keys?
No, Smart Key access is designed to pair with one safe at a time. Programming a second Smart Key into a safe will cancel the first Smart Key and no longer open the safe.
