My Approach

I have over 10 years experience providing counselling & therapy services to individuals and communities.

I believe that successful therapy requires a partnership between the individual and the counsellor.

Together, we will bring our own knowledge to the therapy process and work together to improve the situation.

My approach is guided by an individual’s culture, autonomy, as well as the potential impact of their past traumatic experiences. I use therapy skills that are based on research demonstrating their effectiveness.

I have a special interest in providing mental health counselling to adult populations, including post-secondary (e.g. University) & international students.

In addition to counselling I also offer social work services, such as connecting & collaborating with other resources to better support you.

See services & fees for more details.
