Custom Pet Portraits
Tips for ordering:
- What size do you want?
- Where will it hang in your home? (Wall/colours/furniture/sunlight etc..)
- Is it for you or a gift?
- Bring or email several photos, one especially showing the eyes
- Do you want head & shoulders or full body?
- What’s his/her favorite toy (photo)?
- Is this portrait to be framed?
We’ll paint anything with fur on it including horses, cats, zebras, lions, giraffes, etc.
Painting – Tole, Crafting, Miscellaneous
Tole painting is the folk art of decorative painting. Gillian began tole painting in 2005, supplemented by training in acrylic art through Andrea Mossop’s St. Lawrence College workshop “Painting Extra-Ordinary” which focused on adding light into a project and ‘Painting Green” held on a farm for 2 days – great fun!
Gillian paints on a variety of surfaces. Masonite is preferred for the custom animal portraits. Projects have been painted on wood, including wooden TV tables which make a great gift.
Prints can be made from your custom original so that members of your family can each receive one of their own, which can be also framed to match each unique decor of the home in which it will hang.
