We will NOT remove aeration cores off your lawn. It is beneficial to leave the aeration cores on top of the lawn to break down on their own so that the soil and nutrients are deposited back into the lawn. When you book a Power Raking with an Aeration, we will aerate the lawn first and the power rake machine will break up the cores and redeposit the soil and nutrients into the lawn quickly- so you won’t see many cores left on the lawn and the holes will be less visible!

Yes, we always clean up after ourselves. We will blow off any aeration cores on your walkways and driveway back onto the lawn where they belong.

Yes, your underground sprinkler heads and any other underground obstacles such as invisible dog fences should be marked with flags prior to our arrival. We can supply these flags to you if you do not have any.

Yes, you will want to water often to ensure the seeds don’t dry out. New grass seedlings are tender- they have shallow roots and are unable to tolerate drought. The best time to overseed your lawn is after a spring or fall aeration service. The core aeration leaves holes in the lawn, so the seeds fall into contact with the soil where they can receive the water and nutrients needed to germinate.
