Spring ’11 Magazine

We present this issue with a big thank you to Jeff Schweitzer for his 11 years of service as Editor of our magazine.

MMOPA President Jon Sisk brings us up on association activities. Dave McVinnie challenges us all with good discussion of the difference between being instrument current and instrument proficient. Next, Dick Rochfort fills us in on the latest MMOPA-related news and Mary Bryant logs another great questions and answers segment detailing the FAA’s new aircraft registration rules. Bill Dickerson reflects on his flying experience in “The 1000 Hour Milestone” and observes that probably none who’ve reached that personal hobbs reading are yet the infallible flying machines we thought we’d be. Kevin Mead talks turbine ignition systems. Finally, Justin Lazzeri closes out the issue with the timeless crowd-pleaser discussion of the differences between corrosion and sulphidation.
