DENSITY ALTITUDE, HEAT INDEX, WIND CHILL, AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY CALCULATOR This Excel program allows you to call the AWOS at your departure and arrival airports plug in the data and calculate the density altitude including the humidity factor that doesn’t seem to be added to the normal AWOS report. It will also calculate a heat index above 50 F and a wind chill below that plus give the relative humidity. I also have a rough table of how much distance it takes to clear a 50′ object after you know that density altitude when you are heavy and it is hot outside. There is also a page that lets you write down performance data for your plane and will calculate TAS and other stuff. Enjoy!
